Hi John:
Can you get something put up on the USS Power site that I am trying to get a list of those interested in getting the healthcare that they were promised because of SHAD.
This week I have been talking to someone from VA Watchdog. He agrees that we are due all medical benefits from the VA at no cost to us. What he would like are the names of those that have been denied benefits from the VA. If there are any shipmates that want to be involved please ask them to send their name, address, telephone number and email address to me so that I may pass it along to VA Watchdog. Also, so that as I find out information concerning SHAD I can pass it along.
It seems that there is gross inconsistency in who gets benefits and who doesn't. Decisions are made arbitrarily by the VA. Sorry, but I know of no better place than the web site to try to try to get the requested information. Especially since it's USS Power associated.
The cooperation of all would be greatly appreciated.
